About the Client
Our client is Australian owned and plays a major part in the road maintenance industry, heavily involved in various asphalt and paving works across South-East Queensland. They are currently seeking experienced Truck and Dog Drivers to join their team in Crestmead with day shifts available.

What you will be doing

Successful candidates will meet at the yard in Crestmead and be responsible the following duties:

· Drive the truck to and from site

· Importing and/or exporting earthworks materials from various project sites in and around Brisbane

· Ensure safety standards are maintained including daily prestart checks on the truck

· Complete required company documentation associated with the collection and delivery of materials

· Upholding company client relationships

Rates

Overtime Structure

Monday to Friday : any hours after 7.6/day

Saturday : all hours

Sunday : all hours

Shift Time

Day: 5am – 5pm (10-12 hour shifts)

Requirements

· Current MC and/or HC Licence

· Experience operating Truck & Dog Tipper combination is essential (min 5 years)

· Construction White Card

· Minimum 2+ years' experience operating heavy vehicles (preferably in road work within construction)

· Strong understanding of National Heavy Vehicle Regulations (NHVR) and Chain of Responsibility (COR) Regulations

· Willingness to work overtime, night shifts, and away from home base to meet operational demands

· Dedication to safety evidenced by a clean driving record

· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to complete paperwork accurately and engage with stakeholders

· Ability to pass an instant D&A prior to commencing

Ability to provide a previous driving/traffic history (if they don’t have one, it can be purchased online for $27) ---- this won’t need to be done until candidate has been deemed suitable
