Sustainable Energy Officer
- Ongoing Part Time - 30.4 hpw
- Salary: $80,680 pa (pro-rata) + super
- Location: Ringwood with the majority of work remotely & some travel across the municipality required
The Eastern Alliance for Greenhouse Action (EAGA) is expanding the iconic and successful Solar Savers program to councils across Victoria to assist in their communities in the energy transition. Solar Savers helps households and businesses to save money and take control of their energy bills through a range of upgrade options.
The Sustainable Energy Officer is critical to the success of the project. You will use your outstanding communication, customer service and organisation skills to:
- engage, support and educate program participants - responding to enquiries, reviewing expressions of interest, determining eligibility and maintaining accurate records;
- facilitate information sessions and webinars as well as communicating with householders via phone and email - advising on government incentives and suitable financing options;
- support and inform councils on progress and outcomes of program activities;
- streamline energy upgrade installations by effective communication and troubleshooting with installation suppliers and contractors.

The role provides for flexible working arrangements, variety and satisfaction helping both the community and the environment.

About Maroondah City Council
Maroondah City Council was constituted as a new municipality on 15 December 1994. The City of Maroondah is made up of three wards, with each ward represented by three Councillors.
