About BBC Painting:
BBC Painting is a national painting and decorating company and is currently operational in 5 states. The business started over 30 years ago and has now grown to be one of Australia’s largest and successful painting companies. Due to exponential growth in the commercial sector, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager for an immediate start to oversee multiple projects in the NSW region.

Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Manage your allocated projects, through to completion.
- Responsible for achieving Margin targets for own projects.
- Liaise with clients and other relevant stakeholders, create business connections.
- Carry out regular site visits to each of your projects(minimum weekly).
- Upon being issued a project, learn the site documentation/folder received, and organise works and
Supervisor/Subcontractors for the project.
- Carry out all necessary administrative duties associated with your projects including ensuring site instruction
dockets are signed off by the builders on a daily basis.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project goals.
- Responsible for Employing/Terminating site labour staff.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement & enforce company’s systems, policies & procedures.
- Ensure Site Supervisors are completing paperwork appropriately (Time allocations, Productivity Book, Time
Sheets, ITP’s, Toolbox, etc.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate project risks, including issues related to security, safety, and compliance.
Budget and Cost Management:
- Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
Other Compliance:
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations and building codes.
- Ensure Site Supervisors ordering process aligns with business expectations (only paint & materials required for
the site).
- Monitor quantity of paint bought and used.
- Responsible for corresponding with client as required (RFIs, Delay Notices etc.)
- Ability to read/understand Finishes Schedules, SOW, Drawings, Mark-ups, etc.
- Any other duties as directed by Senior Management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on painting and decorating
projects.
- In-depth knowledge of building industry regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Able to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
