Role: Project Engineer
Location: South QLD & Lismore Regions
Salary Package: $120,000 – $140,000 + Super + Company Vehicle
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Engineer to join a dynamic civil construction team delivering key infrastructure projects across South Queensland and the Northern Rivers region. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer with a solid track record in delivering TMR and civil infrastructure works.

About the Role
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of civil infrastructure projects, including roadworks, drainage, pavements, and structural components. You will oversee planning, procurement, subcontractor management, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day project operations across road and infrastructure projects
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff
• Ensuring works comply with TMR specifications and quality standards
• Preparing and reviewing ITPs, RFIs, and QA documentation
• Monitoring project schedules and budgets
• Maintaining strong communication with clients and stakeholders
• Producing accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on progress and costs

What we are looking for in you
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Project or Site Engineer
• At least 2 years’ experience delivering TMR or other civil infrastructure projects
• Strong technical knowledge of roadworks, drainage, pavements, and structural works
• A solid understanding of TMR processes and specifications
• Experience managing subcontractors and client relationships
• A proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
