Shift Options

We offer a range of 2 to 10-hour shifts, giving you the flexibility to choose what works best for you. Find the perfect balance between work, life and study while making a meaningful impact!

Great Pay: $41 - $45/hr (includes 25% casual loading) + penalty rates for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.

Flexible Hours: Shifts planned 4-6 weeks in advance for work/life/study balance.

Career Growth: Comprehensive Induction & ongoing training (Medication Management, Behaviour Support, ABI awareness ect.)

Supportive Team: Work with a friendly and knowledgeable management team.

Your New Role

As a Support Worker with Acquired Brain Injury Services, you’ll play a vital role in empowering clients to live independently and achieve their personal goals. You will provide compassionate and person-centered support tailored to each individual’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Living Support: Assist with household tasks and meal preparation.

Community Access & Engagement: Support clients in participating in social, recreational, and community activities.

Rehabilitation & Goal Achievement: Encourage skill-building and independence through tailored support plans.

Personal Care & Behaviour Support: Provide respectful assistance with personal hygiene, mobility, and behaviour management.

Empowerment & Decision-Making: Foster independence by encouraging clients to make their own choices.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, incident reports, and communicate effectively with management.

Who We’re Looking For

Experienced & Qualified: Relevant qualifications and/or industry experience in disability, aged care, or community support. Proficiency in manual handling and supporting clients who use wheelchairs is essential. Spinal cord experience highly desirable.

Reliable & Flexible: Ability to adapt to various client needs and work different shifts, including weekends and overnight.

Current shifts available: Mondays 7am - 10am, Tuesdays 7am -10am and every second Saturday 7.30am - 10.30am. More shifts available for the right applicants.

Empathetic & Respectful: Committed to supporting individuals with dignity, independence, and respect.

Team Player: Works well independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.

Strong Communication Skills: Able to engage effectively with clients, families, and management.

Valid Driver’s License & Vehicle: Access to a registered and insured vehicle for transport and a valid NSW Driver Licence as required.

Compliance Ready: NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011), and up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination Certificate
