Administration Officer - Corrective Service Industries - Cessnock Correctional Complex
Location: Cessnock Correctional Complex
Employment type: Ongoing, Full Time
Salary: Clerk Grade 3/4 $84.659,00 pa + Environmental Allowance + Leave Loading + Superannuation
Primary Purpose of the Role:
The CSI Industry Administration Officer (Pronto Superuser) role provides Industries Managers and CSI Business Units advice and support on all matters relating to the efficient operation of the CSI Management Business System (Pronto) in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
You will be part of a dynamic team working in a sensitive correctional centre environment. You will be a self-starter who can work as part of a team and working alone. You will be able to plan your workday, meet targets and display excellent communication skills. You will be willing to learn and embrace new technology and corporate information systems.
You will:
- Provide advice and support to CSI Industries Managers and Business Unit staff in undertaking and implementing Pronto processes, Quality Management Systems and other Business Unit practices to ensure organizational and development objectives are achieved
- Provide a range of administrative and support services, including records management, routine correspondence, meeting and event coordination, to support the effective operation of the team/unit.
- Monitoring purchasing, internal & external order management within PRONTO, undertaking system health-checks and assisting with the correction of system processing errors.
- Collect and compile information for and prepare documentation and correspondence in line with quality and organisational requirements, to support information flow and inform decision making.
- Complete routine financial transactions and purchasing services, ensuring compliance with agency standards and procedures.
- Respond to enquiries, and escalate and redirect issues as required, to ensure the provision of accurate information.
- Update and maintain records and databases, complying with administrative systems and processes, to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience with the use of PRONTO is highly desirable in the areas of purchasing, internal & external order management, undertaking system health-checks and assisting with the correction of data processing errors.
- Tertiary qualification in an administrative or business-related field is advantageous or demonstrated working experience in these types of fields
- Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle in the course of performing the role.
Forklift Licence or willingness to obtain if duty requires it.
