Are you a seasoned procurement professional with a strong background in government processes? We're seeking a proactive and experienced Procurement Advisor to take ownership of a standalone, end-to-end procurement function within a dynamic public sector environment.

Your new role

This is a hands-on, autonomous role where you'll lead the full procurement lifecycle-from strategy and sourcing through to contract management and supplier performance. You'll be the go-to expert, ensuring compliance with government frameworks and delivering value across all procurement activities.

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes across multiple categories
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with government policies
• Lead tendering, evaluation, and contract negotiation activities
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and procurement guidelines
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Provide expert advice on procurement best practices and risk mitigation

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in government procurement (essential)
  
• Strong knowledge of public sector procurement frameworks and legislation
  
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  
• Ability to work autonomously
