If you’re a confident Senior Financial Accountant looking to take the next step into a Finance Manager role, this role will put you on the runway to leadership with mentorship and clear progression already mapped out.

The Position:
You’ll work closely with the Finance Director, playing a hands-on role in the business while being supported to grow your leadership skills. This is a broad, commercially focused role where you’ll have real influence and visibility across the business. Responsibilities include:

• Preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
• Leading month-end processes — journals, reconciliations, accruals
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process with commercial insights
• Oversight of AP/AR and daily cash flow
• Managing BAS, GST, FBT, and tax compliance
• Being audit-ready — working closely with external auditors
• Driving continuous improvements across finance systems and processes

The Candidate:
You’re a confident, commercially minded Senior Financial Accountant ready for your next challenge. You love the idea of partnering with the business, not just reporting on it. You’ve likely had a few solid years under your belt in a busy, mid-to-large business — and now you’re ready to have more ownership and step into a leadership role.

• CA/CPA qualified
• Experience in manufacturing, wholesale or FMCG preferred
• Comfortable working with high transaction volumes
• Advanced Excel and strong ERP systems exposure
• Great communicator with natural leadership qualities and a proactive mindset
• You’re curious, analytical, and ready to own it
