About the role

Border Concrete Pumping is seeking an experienced Dispatcher/Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in Kingscliff, NSW. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient coordination and scheduling of our concrete pumping operations, ensuring superior customer service and on-time delivery.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate and dispatch concrete pumping equipment and crews to job sites in a timely and efficient manner

Manage the daily operations and logistics of the concrete pumping business

Communicate effectively with clients, drivers, and crews to ensure projects run smoothly

Monitor and report on key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement

Liaise with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is well-maintained and available

Provide leadership and mentorship to the operations team

Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect our employees and the public

What we're looking for

2+ years' experience in a dispatching or operations management role, ideally within the construction or logistics industry - (an ex Pumpy looking for a less physical role would be ideal.)

Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with clients, drivers, and crews

Proficient in using dispatch management software and other relevant tools

Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
