Shining Bright Abilities is seeking a Fun, Outgoing, Reliable Support Worker to join our team in Kurri Kurri, NSW. As a casual Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the disability community. We are a small provider that mainly takes clients out into the community and supports in home. We are after our next super star, to be apart of our amazing small team, we won't just take anyone we are after that special support worker that will fit right into our team environment.

Key responsibilities

Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

We mainly take clients out into the community

Engaging clients in meaningful social activities and outings to improve their well-being and quality of life

Providing compassionate and personalized care, tailored to each client's unique needs and preferences

Maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure the highest standards of care

Collaborating with the broader care team to coordinate and deliver seamless support

What we're looking for

A warm, friendly, and outgoing personality with a genuine passion for supporting the disabled community

Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support is highly regarded but not essential.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients

A flexible and adaptable approach, able to work effectively in a casual, on-call capacity

A commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety, confidentiality, and professional conduct

Someone with a reliable car that can travel up to an hour to and from work

The MOST important being able to change your personality to suit each and every participant. Be outgoing and fun!

Someone happy to travel from Singleton to Newcastle areas

Someone happy to do spilt shifts
