A well-established and growing construction and development group with a strong presence across Melbourne is seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager. Known for delivering high-quality commercial and industrial projects.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Construction Project Manager to take ownership of projects from conception through to handover. You will be a key player in delivering high-quality builds, managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships while ensuring site safety and project excellence.

The role is based from their North Melbourne office and you will initially be responsible for managing a multi-storey accommodation project alongside an industrial project, providing the chance to work across two fast-moving and distinct sectors, offering variety, challenge, and the opportunity to broaden your project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle: design coordination, procurement, construction, and handover
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, consultants, and internal site teams
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, OH&S, and quality standards
• Drive effective communication between stakeholders and on-site personnel
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience managing industria construction projects in Australia is preferred
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of Australian building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices
• Ability to lead teams, multitask, and problem-solve under pressure
• Experience with software such as Cheops and Procore advantageous
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
