About the role

We are looking for passionate and committed psychologists and accredited mental health social workers to join our small team.

Work directly with clients, either in person or on-line, and help increase the client base by engaging third party providers such as government departments and private sector medical and allied health professional services.

Use your professional skills and drive to help grow the business and share a sense of being part of something bigger.

Your responsibilities

· Provide clinical interventions, support, plans and assessment services for individual clients with complex issues, trauma, PTSD, and other challenges.

· Provide individual therapy, couples therapy, group therapy, and/or family therapy.

· Use a range of proven modalities reflecting your areas of clinic experience.

· Build and manage a referral base and case load.

· Manage records in Touchstone’s systems and third-party systems including DVA, WorkCover, Medicare and NDIS

· Liaise with external services to achieve the best outcomes for your clients.

What you will bring to the role

· Demonstrated professional experience working as a psychologist or mental health social worker in a clinical mental health setting.

· A demonstrated history of successful work with clients experiencing complex and other forms of trauma.

· Experience in individual, couples, group or family therapy.

· A commitment to ongoing learning and development in the areas of mental health, attachment and trauma therapy.

· Willingness to contribute to growing the client base.

A current Medicare Provider Number

Arrangement

Casual Employee moving to permanent part time or full-time employee after probation period. Contracting is also possible in accordance with new contractor guidelines.

Salary

Negotiable using the Health Professionals and Support Services Award as a base line.

Plus 12% employer superannuation contribution, paid external clinical supervision and PD allowance.
