About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to coordinate and deliver the provision of specialised mental health forensic clinical services and professional leadership to ensure the appropriate management of forensic/treatment support order and/or high-risk consumers across MNMH-TPCH. Contribute to the development of mental health clinicians and increase their capacity to confidently work with forensic and high-risk consumers.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Demonstrate specialised clinical expertise with forensic issues related to mental health care, including risk assessment and risk management of consumers on Forensic Orders (FO), FO (Disability) and FO (Prescribed Offence).
- Lead the establishment of formal partnerships and provide consultation and liaison to key stakeholders, specialist forensic services and criminal justice agencies.
- Responsible for the professional development of self and others utilising contemporary practice in the delivery of improved standards of care.
