Poly Welders

With multiple projects on the go, we have opportunity for multiple skilled Poly Welders based at our Edinburgh facility, ready to hit the ground running. This position will conduct butt, electrofusion, extrusion and socket welding techniques, including custom tee and cross welding, sheet welding and pipeline construction. This role will see you conduct manufacturing and installation of projects both on and off site, so experience and the ability to manage consistency, quality and timeliness is critical. Key Responsibilities:

Complete installation of HDPE pipe work and components, including assisting in civil works associated with HDPE installation.

Perform hydrostatic testing of HDPE pipe works and components in accordance with AS/NZ Standards.

Execute HDPE poly welding in all positions and situations, including in-trench or shoring box, tie-in welds, EWP or scaffolding welding.

Effectively interpret general arrangement and isometric drawings for correct location, position and dimensions of all components.

Skills and Qualification Requirements:

Trade qualified with current poly ticket (critical)

Operation experience with Dixon and McElroy welding machines preferred

Drivers licence with reliable transport

Current Police Clearance

Current White Card (required)

Hold current chainsaw and forklift ticket, or be willing to obtain

Earthwork machinery and HRW tickets highly desirable.
