Workfast are currently seeking Coded Welders for the 7/7 roster in Olympic Dam, Roxby Downs, SA.

Work for above-ground and underground.

MUST have MMAW (3E) trade qualification

Highlight:

• Roxby Downs, SA 12 hours per day
• Ongoing work with 7/7 roaster
• Flat rate $64
• Underground allowance $1.90 per hour
• Work for a reputable company and one of the biggest mining sites
• Meal, flight and camp provided, flights covered from Adelaide

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Full Australian working rights with no restrictions
• Australia Trade Certificate Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade Boilermaking/Welding
• MUST have MMAW (3E) trade qualification
• Able to work as a Coded Welder
• White card
• Confined Space Ticket (within 5 years)
• Working at Heights Ticket (within 5 years)
• Ability to complete police checks, drug and alcohol and medical

Note:

• Clean shave site

Responsibilities :

• 7/7 roster starts early September
• Fabrication and Welding
• Coded Welding
• Ability to pass the weld test
• Qualified in FCAW working under WPS 1554,1
• Heavy structural steel fabrication
• MMAW (3E) welding
• Assisting the team where necessary
• Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding duties
• Complete ad hoc duties as assigned by the site supervisor
