Due to growth within the business an opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join this high performing team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will encompass a variety of responsibilities including:

Monthly reporting and financial analysis

Assisting with the preparation of full-year statutory financial reports

Managing reconciliation of bank and balance sheet accounts

Assisting in preparing BAS, FBT, GST, and Income Tax returns

Cost management and analysis

Overseeing the fixed asset register

Presentations of financial information to senior management

Leading and participating in finance process improvement and system enhancement initiatives

To be the successful candidate for this role, you will be CA/CPA qualified with 3+ years of accounting experience, either as a Financial Accountant in a Retail/FMCG business or a Big 4/2nd tier accounting firm, ideally with exposure to inventory accounting. You will have experience with cloud-based software, advanced Excel skills, strong problem-solving abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and great attention to detail.
