As a Financial Capability Worker, you will provide information, money management skills and coaching to help clients make financial decisions and build financial resilience. This also includes providing community education workshops.
You will provide person-centred financial education and support by meeting clients where they’re at, helping them build financial capability, and offering practical tools like budgeting and coaching. Facilitate warm referrals to internal and external services, ensuring clients feel welcomed and supported, especially those new to service systems.
This is a part time (22.5 hrs hours per week) opportunity until 30 June 2026 and will be based in either Bunbury or Busselton.
What you will bring
You are a passionate individual who is driven to deliver a quality service for our clients. To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience working with marginalised and disadvantaged groups.
- A well-developed understanding of financial literacy and resilience
- Demonstrated experience in providing financial support to clients in a coaching and mentoring setting
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with a diverse range of clients and organisations
- Ability to communicate with and respond to the cultural sensitivities required by our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse clients.
- Well-developed computer skills (MS Word, MS Outlook, client management system).
- Hold or be working towards a vocational Certificate III in Community Services Work (desirable)
You must have full working right within Australia and possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year.

- $86,950 - $89,232 per annum pro rata + 12% super
- In addition to your remuneration, you will enjoy generous tax-free salary packaging benefits where you can package up to $15,900 per annum and not pay tax on that amount
- Additional 3 days (pro-rata) leave per year
