Key Responsibilities

1. General Accounting & Month-End Close
• Execute month-end closing activities including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and submit reports to Finance Manager for review
• Prepare monthly forecast, cash flow report, internal management reports, and maintain accurate GL records

2. Accounts Receivable/Payable & Financial Operations
• Oversee OPEX/CAPEX invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor communications
• Maintain AP ageing reports, coordinate weekly payment schedules, and monitor Sales/AR transactions
• Manage stock/Purchase Order tracking to ensure timely invoicing
• Process employee reimbursements and corporate credit card reconciliations

3. Compliance & Tax
• Conduct GL and reconciliations in XERO and maintain audit-ready documentation
• Support global compliance (Trademark, Insurance, Transfer Pricing, IAS, BAS, Income Tax, Payroll Tax, etc.)

4. Finance Support & Process Improvement
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and internal reporting
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and contribute to process optimisation initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/CA qualified or in progress
• 2–5 years’ accounting experience, preferably with Australian entities
• Proficiency in XERO and/or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central; advanced Excel skills
• Proactive and reliable, with strong ownership of month-end close and GL accuracy
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with full-cycle accounting experience preferred
• FMCG, e-commerce, or SME background is advantageous
