Registered Nurse/ Treatment Room Nurse – Immediate Start (30 Hours/Fortnight)

The Opportunity:
We are seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a temporary basis while our current nurse is on personal leave. There may be potential for ongoing work depending on the needs of the practice and mutual fit.

Work Hours:

Monday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the treatment room to accreditation standards

Perform ECGs, Spirometry, immunisations, and wound care

Coordinate chronic disease management, care plans, and health assessments

Oversee stock control, sterilisation, and clinical ordering

Collaborate effectively with doctors and admin staff

Essential Criteria:

Current AHPRA Registration

Previous experience in General Practice (essential)

Proficient computer and clinical data management skills

Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

Remuneration:

Hourly rate commensurate with experience (negotiable)

Practice Facilities:

5 consulting rooms

2-bed treatment room + private nurse office

Full-time practice manager and administrative support

Adjacent pharmacy and onsite radiology

Fully computerised systems

Ample free parking for staff and patients

We are conveniently located within Mount Druitt Central, close to Spotlight and TK Maxx, with ample parking and just 1km from Mount Druitt train station.
