Our client specialises in insurance and remedial construction for all building types including residential, commercial and strata, they are also undertaking bespoke high-end fit-out and renovations for our repeat clientele. Office is based in Pinkenba and head office is in Sydney.

THE ROLE

Insurance Repairs Estimator/Supervisor specialising in Business-As-Usual (BAU) and Event claims, responsible for assessing 4 claims daily. The role is crucial in providing accurate estimates, ensuring adherence to SLAs, and demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.

DUTIES

• Assess and estimate insurance repairs for BAU and Event claims
• Conduct on-site inspections to evaluate damages.
• Liaise with stakeholders and specialized trades for accurate decisions.
• Manage 4-5 claims per day, balancing on-site and office tasks.
• Maintain a detail-oriented approach, ensuring accurate estimates and thorough documentation.
• Adhere to SLAs, managing timelines for timely completion of assessments.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in insurance repairs estimation for BAU and Event claims.
• Must be QBCC licenced
• Background in trades and/or insurance.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high daily workload.
• Excellent communication skills for client, contractor, and team interactions.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering accurate estimates.
• Familiarity with insurance industry practices and ability to work independently in both field and office settings.
