About the Position
We are looking to welcome a Speech Pathologist to provide trauma-informed speech pathology assessments and interventions as part of an integrated team.
- Part time 0.8FTE position.
- Minimum 6-Month backfill contract with possibility for extension.
- Level 6 SCHCADS Award. Salary range: $110,110 - $114,982 + Superannuation (pro-rata).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide an outstanding therapeutic service to children, young people and their families in the Broadmeadows area.
- Encourage and strengthen supportive relationships with adult caregivers.
- Enhance therapeutic and psychosocial outcomes for children and young people impacted by trauma.
- Work with Act for Kids staff members, other professionals and agencies to enhance client outcomes.

About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.
- Membership with Speech Pathology Australia and hold Certified Practising Speech Pathology (CPSP) status.
- At least two years’ experience working with children, young people and their families who have been impacted by trauma or experienced abuse and neglect, or at least two years’ experience working in similar roles.
- Experience providing individual and group therapy to children, young people and their families.
Other Requirements
- Eligibility for a WWCC or professional exemption.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Legal ability to work in Australia (proof of eligibility required).
