About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to join our team at South East Civil Pty Ltd on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. As our Civil Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating civil construction projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standard and in a timely manner. This is a full-time position that will require you to be on-site managing all aspects of the project.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate a team of civil construction workers to complete projects on schedule and to specification

Liaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective project delivery

Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Provide hands-on leadership to the construction team

Assist with the planning and scheduling of work activities

Maintain accurate records and documentation for the project

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years experience as a Civil Foreman or Supervisor, with a proven track record of successfully delivering civil construction projects

Strong knowledge of civil construction techniques, materials, and equipment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

Proficient in reading and interpreting project plans, specifications, and engineering drawings

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as required
