With continued growth across the state, we’re now looking to welcome an experienced Traffic Management Designer (TMD) to our team.

About the Role

We’re looking for a qualified and experienced TMD to join our growing operations in Queensland. In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing safe, practical, and fully compliant Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) and Traffic Management Plans (TMP) across a diverse range of construction and infrastructure projects.

Your designs will directly support the safety of workers and road users while ensuring smooth and compliant project delivery. While this is primarily an office-based position, you’ll conduct site visits as needed to assess real-time conditions and ensure your plans are accurate and feasible. You’ll also have the flexibility to work from either our Gold Coast or Brisbane office.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in Traffic Management Plan and Guidance Scheme design (TGS/TMP)

Current Traffic Management Design certification (TMD)

Strong working knowledge of MUTCD Part 3 and relevant road authority requirements

Ability to interpret site conditions and project scopes effectively

Excellent attention to detail and understanding of safety requirements

Good communication and stakeholder liaison skills

Willingness to attend site visits as required by the business

Will need strong experience dealing directly with local councils

Know how on preparing and submitting permits

Experience within the commercial construction and civil industry
