We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our boutique, dynamic building company in the Bayside, Inner East area. As a Lead Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing carpentry tasks on-site, ensuring the highest quality standards are met across our residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· Site Carpentry Leadership: Oversee all aspects of carpentry on-site, ensuring every detail meets or exceeds industry standards.

· Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, other trades, owners, to keep projects on schedule and within budget, adapting to site conditions and client needs.

· Problem Solving: Identify and resolve carpentry-related challenges and other trade challenges in real-time to ensure smooth project flow.

· Team Support: Guide and support team members, sharing knowledge and techniques to promote skill growth and safety.

· Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and the team. Have a strong OH&S compliance understanding and implementation.

What We’re Looking For:

· Experience: 5+ years as a lead carpenter in domestic carpentry.

· Technical Skills: Mastery of hand and power tools, interpreting drawings, structural steel and concrete knowledge, carrying out complex carpentry tasks. Able to use Building Apps and Software.

· Management Skills: Ability to lead, delegate tasks, and manage team members effectively.

· Communication: Strong verbal skills with adaptability to collaborate with project managers, clients, and team members.
