Senior Business Analyst - Data

Contract length: 12 months (extensions likely)
Rate: $850-900 including super, per day

About the Role:
We're seeking a high-calibre Senior Business Analyst to join a team delivering cutting-edge digital products to the business. This is a front-facing, value-focused role requiring exceptional technical fluency, stakeholder engagement, and digital curiosity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a conduit between senior stakeholders (non-executive level) and technical teams.
• Drive productivity and efficiency gains through tailored digital solutions.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Data Visualisation experts, and UX/UI designers to develop AI-informed, data-driven digital products.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and workshops to interrogate AI problem statements and identify real business value.
• Translate complex business needs into actionable insights and requirements.
• Be a thought partner in agile ceremonies and iterative product development.

Desirable Experience:

• Snowflake and/or AWS exposure.
• Background in mining, heavy industry or digital transformation.
• Strong skills in basic SQL and data analysis.
• Prior experience with AI, data product discovery, or intelligent automation.
