Make a meaningful difference with us:

Reporting to the Digital Delivery and Risk Manager, the Portfolio Delivery Risk Officer will ensure the effective management of our digital delivery portfolio by handling key functions such as onboarding new project resources, portfolio support, management of portfolio tools, and oversight of portfolio risks and issues.

The role will work closely with other members of the Digital Project Management Office, project resources, and other key stakeholders to optimise the portfolio's performance, deliver insights into project health, and support decision-making processes to drive strategic outcomes.

Please note, this is a full time, permanent position. Flexibility is important to us, and we know it is to you, too - this role supports hybrid working.

Your part in our UnitingCare team:

Provide comprehensive support on assigned projects, including preparing ad hoc reports,
correspondence, and presentations as requested by the manager.

Oversee and follow up on the implementation of decisions, ensuring alignment with
project goals and timelines.

Assist in the preparation, coordination, and execution of Steering Committees

Collaborate with assurance partners and internal stakeholders to provide accurate data,
insights, and clarifications during the assurance process.

Implement follow-up actions based on assurance findings to improve compliance, reduce
risks, and enhance technology governance practices.

Leading the establishment of projects within Fortes and monitoring the accuracy of the
data, including coaching project delivery teams to ensure updates are received on a
timely, complete and accurate.

What makes a difference for us?

Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2).

Proficiency in using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms, with experience in analysing processes and recommending improvements in workflows or systems.

Previous exposure to contributing to or leading project initiatives aimed at improving workplace practices or team performance.

Basic understanding of risk management principles and control frameworks.

Experience with a high-performing digital Project Management Office will be highly regarded.
