Build Data-Driven Intelligence for a Smarter Property Industry

Runway is looking for a Data & BI Analyst with extensive Looker experience to join our AI and insights team.

In this role, you’ll go beyond dashboards, helping connect AI model outputs, automate workflows, and deliver insights that directly impacts users across Australia and the USA.

This is a hybrid position based in our Flemington (Inner West Melbourne) office, with at least two days onsite per week.

We’re now expanding our platform with AI-powered automation, real-time insights, and intelligent decision support, and our data infrastructure is key to delivering it.

What You’ll Do

Build clean, scalable dashboards in Looker for internal teams and clients

Write efficient, production-grade SQL to power complex metrics and transformations

Use Python to automate data tasks, validate AI outputs, or interact with APIs

Collaborate with engineering and product to integrate AI model outputs into reporting and decision flows

Help define KPIs, design audit-ready explainability layers, and manage performance tuning

Document and train internal teams on new data products and insights

What You’ll Bring

Strong SQL skills - confident across complex queries, joins, and optimisation

Solid Python experience for data wrangling, scripting, or system integration

Deep Looker experience - including LookML, modelling, dashboard design, and performance tuning

Familiarity with integrating or reporting on AI model outputs (e.g., OpenAI, AWS AI)

Understanding of human-in-the-loop workflows and explainable AI principles

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

Experience with Power BI or other data visualisation platforms

Familiarity with data orchestration tools like dbt, Airflow, or similar

Exposure to Snowflake, BigQuery, or modern data warehouse ecosystems

Background in SaaS, PropTech, or enterprise platform analytics

Interest in real-time reporting, data auditing, or AI compliance frameworks
