My client is looking for a position description writer to join their team. The team is led by the Senior Manager, People & Change Enablement. Reporting into this role are several enablement positions, including Manager, People & Change Enablement and Project Employee Relations (ER) Manager positions, and a group of eight RD Writers who support the delivery of position descriptions and job evaluation activities across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Write and update position descriptions (PDs)
• Engage with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs)
• Ensure compliance with frameworks and naming conventions
• Provide specialist advice on job design
• Maintain documentation and role description library
• Support job evaluation processes.
  Collaborate across teams.

Skills and experience required:

• Position description writing experience
• Job analysis and consultation skills
• Knowledge of job design principles
• Written communication skills
• At least 3–5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within hr, organisational design, workforce planning, or classification/job evaluation.
• Public sector experience
• Job evaluation support
• Organisational change exposure
• Document management too
• Research and analysis
• Mercer CED experience
