Come Work with The Talisman Group!
We want incredible people to join the family. We are growing, with multiple new venues and fresh opportunities - and this is a chance to be a part of it.
The Company:
Talisman Group is founded on pure energy, hospitality, and deep experience. Our ownership and leadership teams are industry veterans — we’ve walked the walk, and we’re proud to support and grow the next generation. Our people are our most important asset, and our culture is built around respect, fun, and development. When our team thrives, our venues do too.
We're not just filling roles — we're building teams of curious, creative, and committed individuals who want to elevate the guest experience, grow professionally, and be part of something special.
The Opportunity:
We’re hiring passionate hospitality professionals — wine-savvy leaders — to join our Front of House team at the reimagined South City Wine Bar & Bistro.
With a worldly and thoughtfully curated wine list, elegant French cocktails, and classic European bistro fare, South City brings a romantic, sultry flair to your local neighbourhood. We’re a true European bar and bistro with soul — and we’re looking for people who bring the same energy.
We’re looking for a passionate Manager who not only knows how to lead a team but also brings a genuine love for wine to the table. You’ll already have a solid foundation in wine – perhaps you've studied, worked on wine lists, or just developed your knowledge through years of tasting and service – but what excites you is the hunger to grow, and keep learning and deepening that expertise.
We’re also on the lookout for an Assistant Manager who brings some experience with wine, but more importantly, has a genuine interest in deepening their knowledge. If you’re someone who’s curious, eager to learn, and excited about expanding your wine expertise—while getting paid to do it—this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
These roles are for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and wants to be part of a team that values curiosity, development, and excellence. You’ll be given the tools and support to grow: from structured training to paid development opportunities and regular exposure to tastings, producer events, and supplier education.
If you're someone who loves hospitality, lives for wine, and leads with heart, we’d love to hear from you!
