We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Data Tester to ensure the integrity, quality, and consistency of data across our platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with data testing tools, and a deep understanding of databases and data flows in enterprise applications. We are seeking strong test governance, communications and stakeholder management skills in the ideal candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and understand business and data requirements

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for validating data migration, ETL processes, and reporting

Perform data profiling and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity

Write and run SQL queries for data verification and validation

Identify, document, and report defects; track resolution

Work closely with Data Engineers, Developers, and Business Analysts

Validate reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau

Maintain and update test documentation and test results

Automate data validation tasks using Python, Excel macros, or data quality tools (desirable)

Strong written and verbal communication

Can liaise with both testing leadership and the data projects effectively
