Based in a dynamic and collaborative environment, this role offers the chance to make a significant impact by shaping the company’s data infrastructure from the ground up.

They are based in Sydney CBD and work with a hybrid working set up.

About the Role
They are seeking a senior Data Engineer to design, implement, and manage their data infrastructure. Reporting to the Head of Data, you will lead the development of a robust and scalable data platform to enable actionable insights and data-driven decision-making. Working closely with finance leadership and technical teams, this is a hands-on, strategic role that combines technical expertise with business collaboration.

Salary & benefits

• $170,000 + super.
• Flexible working arrangements. 2-3 days remote, 2-3 in office

• Programming & Data Modeling

Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience in setting up and managing Data warehouse infrastructures. (Snowflake, Databricks etc)
• Advanced knowledge of Snowflake security, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Expertise in ETL/ELT processes and tools like Azure Data Factory.
• Proficiency in Python or Java for data automation and processing.In-depth knowledge of dimensional modeling and analytics-ready data design.
• 5+ years in data engineering or a similar role.
• Experience with real-time data integration and healthcare data (DICOM, HL7 files) is a plus.
