As we expand our services, we are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Casual Disability Support Workers located near the Northern Suburbs to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of our clients.

We are seeking multiple Casual Disability Support Workers to deliver outstanding support to our clients. The nature of this role requires flexibility due to varying client needs and schedules. You will be responsible for providing direct support in clients' homes, and you must be prepared to travel between multiple locations each day. Weekend availability is urgently needed to meet some of our clients' requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality care to clients in their homes.

Assist with a range of activities, including personal care, household tasks, and community engagement.

Manage behaviours of concern and adhere to restrictive practices as required.

Adapt to changing client needs and work across different days and hours each week.

Travel to multiple clients' homes daily.

Maintain clear and accurate records of client interactions and progress.

Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure coordinated and effective support.

Requirements:

Minimum of one year of experience in disability support or a related field.

Relevant certifications and checks, including:

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Police Check

First Aid (or willingness to obtain)

Working with Children Check

Valid Australian Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.

Availability to work weekends is highly desirable.

Preferred qualifications: Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability and/or Mental Health Care, or equivalent.

Experience working with clients with Autism, mental health conditions, anxiety disorder, speech impairment, epilepsy, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, and advanced manual handling supports is highly regarded.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High level of flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse client needs.
