Madrain Pty Ltd is a growing private company providing repairs and maintenance services to various clients and is seeking to appoint a carpenter to join our maintenance team with work located in Newcastle and Central Coast.

Qualifications & experience

Experience in Building industry or previous handy person work necessary

Trade qualification highly regarded

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Availability to work flexible days including occasional weekends, after hours and public holidays

A current NSW Drivers licence, appropriate vehicle and your own tools of the trade.

A white Card

A police check clearance

Tasks & responsibilities

Responsible for various repairs and building maintenance tasks including, but not limited to plastering, making safe, carpentry works, basic tiling, etc

Responsible for the identification of any repair and maintenance works that need to be undertaken

Carrying out reactive maintenance as request by our clients

Focusing on WH&S whilst conducting all activities

Travelling to various sites throughout Newcastle and Central Coast Area

Communicating the progress and completion of works as required
