We are currently looking for an enthusiastic "people person" with a can-do attitude to join our builder's equipment hire team in Glen Iris.

This position is responsible for curating all activity in our yard outside of the office and workshop, under the direction of the Branch Manager.

Experience with equipment and transport is not essential - all training will be provided for a candidate willing and able to learn.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong customer service ethic, as well as ability to follow procedures with an eye for accuracy and detail. This role will suit someone with an interest in machines who enjoys being keeping an orderly work space.

Position Description

Based in our yard in Glen Iris, in this important position you will often be the first and last point of contact for customers in the yard and will also be responsible for keeping the yard neat, clean and running efficiently. As such, the role is key to our customer's experience.

Duties include:

Management of the equipment wash bay including equipment preparation

Directing traffic through the yard

Greeting/farewelling customers

Loading/unloading company and customer vehicles

Handing equipment over to customers including providing instructions (once trained to do so)

About You:

You are punctual and reliable

You have a positive, can-do attitude towards customer service

You can demonstrate attention to detail

You are eager to learn

You enjoy keeping your spaces neat, tidy and orderly

You have a current valid Australian driver’s license with a clean driving record

Additionally, the following qualities will be viewed favorably:

Experience/interest in any of machines/tools/trades

Forklift Licence

All requisite training will be provided for an applicant willing and able to learn, including forklift license.
