REQUIRED QUALIFIED METAL FABRICATOR – at SUNSHINE WEST, Victoria 3020– Full Time –

on Annual Package Au$ 75000 – Au$ 80000.

Our business requires a Qualified METAL FABRICATOR at the above mentioned address, with

proven ability and according to best practice standards. We pride ourselves in ensuring all our

clients experience an exceptional standard. To apply for this role you must be a fully qualified,

worked in a similar role and be able to start immediately.

You will be required to have: Relevant Qualification to field, minimum two years of work

Experience as an METAL FABRICATOR. Please provide Resume and Qualifications if you are

Main Duties are:

 Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.

 Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock.

 Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and

metal cutting machines.

 Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by

heating and hammering.

 Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments.

 Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting.

 Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision.

 Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions.

 Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiselling and grinding.
