The Firm

This highly regarded 2nd Tier firm has an audit division that is moving ahead in leaps and bounds. Due to expansion they seek to appoint another audit director. The firm's reputation and market presence has gained continued momentum in the Brisbane marketplace over the last 5 years, and is a well recognised accounting practice nationally and also is apart of a prominent international brand. The Directors do not operate in ‘Silo's’ so the cross referral culture is alive and well and pro-active both in Brisbane and nationally.

The Role

The Firm has an immediate demand for an Audit Director who is Registered Company Auditor. They seek the right style and type of person who is capable of working with the existing affable and commercially astute Audit Directors. Your focus will be on a private company client base as well as a range of other audit based assignments which may spin off from the firm's corporate finance and internal audit divisions. Business development and networking will naturally be a part of your mandate.

The Person

It is a given that you will be a CA, must be a Registered Company Auditor and have a high level of technical audit skill. Your networks and contacts will have been established over a solid period of time working in Brisbane based accounting firms and you have a track record of business development to back this up. It is critical that you are a 'self starter', positive person and someone who can bring to the table a cross section of audit, business development and staff management skills.
