About the business

We are a multi-award winning, CBD based audit practice specializes in the audit of small to large for-profit organizations, NFPs, SMSFs, various types of trust accounts, etc. We are considered a young but established firm (10-year-old) with solid track record in Brisbane and other capital cities i.e. Sydney and Melbourne. We had won several awards from the Australian Accounting Awards Events namely Auditor of the Year and SMSF Auditor of the year at either the state or national levels. We are also finalists in a number of categories since 2016 such a Fast-Growing Firm of the Year, etc.

About the role

Our client base is constantly increasing and now requires an additional team player to assist with completing these audits. You will be assisting our senior auditors and audit managers with completing certain sections of the audit files. Attention to detail and a keen eye to learn is crucial as you will be exposed to a multi-facet of client types during your tenure with IAS.

Skills and experience

Working under the direction of the director, and in a team of 6 other team members located overseas and in the office, you will:

Be confident interacting with team members, clients, and building relationships;

Have a drive for career progression, receiving mentoring directly from the managers/ director;

Work with clients in the NFP clubs and corporations, member-based organizations (such as Sporting Clubs), and medium and larger private companies across retail, education, health and aged care, etc.;

Occasional local and interstate travel to client's premises to undertake work but main bulk of work is in the office;

Ability to experience end to end audit experience including developing client management, communication skills, etc.;

Up to one year plus experience in a similar role;

Have the right mindset to learn and drive to meet client's deadlines; and

A strong commitment to client satisfaction.
