Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre (UBCC) is seeking an experienced Executive Officer to lead a passionate team and guide the strategic and operational direction of our vibrant, community-managed Neighbourhood House.

UBCC is a well-established not-for-profit organisation governed by a volunteer Committee of Governance (CoG). We deliver a wide range of programs and services that promote wellbeing, learning, and social connection. Our income streams include fee-for-service activities, an Early Learning Centre, room hire, recurrent government funding (Department of Families, Fairness & Housing), and periodic grants.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage day-to-day operations, programs, and staff

Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting

Drive community engagement, partnerships, and marketing

Ensure compliance with regulatory and funding bodies

Support governance and strategic planning with the CoG

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in Community Services, Welfare/Health, Counselling, Adult Education, or related fields

Demonstrated leadership in community services and development

Strong understanding of community organisation values and governance

Current Victorian Driver’s Licence, Police Check, and Working With Children Check

First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
