About the Role

Berry Street Yooralla is seeking an experienced individual to Manage its Community Access Service in the Ovens Murray Rural Region. (Benalla) You will be responsible for:

  • The leadership and management of Community Access supports across a range of settings including site-based services, community-based groups, individual support and in-home supports in the Ovens Murray Region.
  • The design, delivery and evaluation of cost efficient, innovative, flexible and high-quality service delivery to support positive outcomes for clients of all ages with a disability.
  • Managing change and supporting the development of teams to deliver contemporary and evolving services to support clients to achieve their goals and to meet demands of new and potential clients.
  • Overall performance of the service and achievement of all quality, people and financial performance targets. the manager is accountable for all domains of service provision – ensuring high-quality supports delivered by a capable and engaged workforce within an approved service budget.

About You

To be successful in this role you'll share Yooralla's Values and have:

  • Management Experience: Demonstrated management experience, preferably within a community services environment.
  • Sector Knowledge: Understanding of legislation and standards relevant to the disability sector.
  • Person-Centered Approach: Knowledge and understanding of how to support staff in implementing contemporary and person-centered approaches to uphold the rights and support needs of individuals with disabilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Resource Management: Demonstrated ability to manage financial and staff resources within a complex environment.
  • Initiative and Organization: Excellent initiative, self-directed work practices, and highly developed organizational skills.
  • A relevant qualification and/or significant experience in the human services area (Desirable)
