About the role

We are currently seeking experienced Security Officers to join our team with our prestigious hospitality client. Reporting to the Security Supervisor, the primary role of the Security Officer is to ensure the immediate safety and security of the premises and all those person(s) on the premises. The position is a part-time opportunity 2 nights per week (Friday/Saturday).

• Provide internal security services including routine and regular patrols within the premises.
• Access control including ID checks for hotel patrons, assisting the on-site manager in the event of a first aid incident, a building evacuation or removal of disruptive or unruly patrons.
• Crowd control duties while patrolling through the general and private spaces
• Provide surveillance of abnormal incidents within the premises and liaise with police as appropriate.
• Provide information and assistance to staff and visitors as necessary.
• Ensuring the ‘No Smoking' policy, including no vaping, is being followed by all patrons.

What we're looking for

• Hold a Western Australian Security License - Static Guard/Crowd Control
• Hold a Certificate II Security Operations
• Have received or renewed your First Aid & CPR cert within the year
