Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia's future.

Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.

We are seeking a Facilities & Security Project Manager (PV) for a Joint Data Networks sub-program to support the delivery of secure, fit-for-purpose facilities for mission systems by managing facilities works and security accreditation in coordination with Defence stakeholders.

What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Initiate and oversee facilities works in collaboration with stakeholders and project managers.
• Lead or contribute to facilities working groups and planning activities.
• Coordinate physical and ICT security planning and accreditation for mission systems.
• Develop and contribute to key project planning documents and risk assessments.
• Provide briefings and updates to senior leadership on risks, issues, and progress.

What You'll Bring

• Experience managing Defence-related facilities works and E&IG processes.
  
• Knowledge of Defence physical and ICT security planning and accreditation.
  
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work autonomously and exercise sound judgement in risk escalation.
  
• Familiarity with Defence project planning, risk management, and tactical data link systems.
  
• Currently hold a TS PV security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.
  
• In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may be an inherent requirement.
