The Role
As Team Leader, you’ll supervise and guide a small team of roof plumbers to deliver top-quality roofing projects safely, on time, and to specification. Combining your technical roofing expertise with strong leadership, you’ll ensure smooth site operations, uphold safety standards, and maintain excellent communication with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise day-to-day operations of your roof plumbing team

Plan and coordinate work schedules, materials, and on-site logistics

Oversee installation, maintenance, and repairs of roofing systems to the highest standard

Allocate task and oversee daily work of apprentices, plumbers and labourers

Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to less experienced workers

Ensure strict compliance with WHS regulations and company safety protocols

Inspect completed work for quality assurance and rectify any defects

Act as the key on-site contact for clients, contractors, and the operations team

Complete all necessary reporting, including site records and safety documentation

Use mobile apps or job management systems (eg Simpro) to log data in real-time

What We’re Looking For

BPC (VBA) Registered Roof Plumber

Minimum 10 years’ experience as a qualified roof plumber

Proven experience leading small teams or work crews

Strong knowledge of AS3500.3, site logistics, scheduling, and resource management

Working at Heights, White Card, and valid Victorian driver’s licence

A safety-first mindset, with a reputation for reliability, teamwork, and integrity

First Aid/CPR certification (desirable)

EWP Licence (desirable)
