We are currently seeking a Paralegal/Graduate at Law to join our Mortgage Transactional and Advance Team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work closely with high-profile clients and industry leaders.

The Role
As a Paralegal/Graduate at Law, you’ll play a key role supporting our transactional team through both administrative and substantive legal work. This includes file management, client communication, document drafting, and attending settlements. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and eager to develop their skills in mortgage and banking transactions.
Key Responsibilities
File Management & Ownership
Manage and maintain files in LEAP
Take ownership of selected client files under supervision
Document Drafting & Review
Draft and review mortgages, discharges, caveats, priority notices via PEXA
Prepare deeds of priority, deeds of settlement, certifications, and related documents
Transactional Support
Conduct and review searches
Prepare security schedules and cheque directions using Excel
Attend to real property and PPSR registrations
Client Interaction
Communicate directly with clients regarding matter progression
Settlements
Prepare for and attend settlements, ensuring all documentation is in order
Reporting & Communication
Provide detailed updates to clients and supervising partners
Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders
About You
Paralegal experience or recent law graduate (experience in mortgage law advantageous but not essential)
Strong legal research and drafting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, LEAP, and PEXA desirable
