This is a rare opportunity to be the key commercial voice on utility-scale renewable energy projects in Australia across Solar and BESS. You'll have high visibility and autonomy, owning complex commercial contracts across the full project lifecycle, from development through to construction and operations. With direct access to senior leadership and influence over business-critical decisions, this role is your chance to become a trusted leader in the clean energy transition. You'll operate with independence, and your input will directly shape the commercial direction of major infrastructure projects.

About the role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll work alongside a high-performing legal and commercial specialist and partner with Development, Project Delivery and Asset Management functions. This is a standalone role, the final piece of the puzzle. You'll manage all aspects of commercial contract support, especially around EPC contracts, PPA's and project development.

Duties

Own and lead the commercial contracts process across solar, BESS and wind projects

Draft, review and manage key project agreements (incl. NDAs, SPAs, exclusivity arrangements)

Navigate and support EPC and O&M contracts without becoming a bottleneck

Engage directly with internal and external stakeholders to manage risk and close deals

Skill/experience

Strong experience in commercial contracts management, within energy infrastructure

Proven ability working across EPC contracts and supporting major energy infrastructure developments

Legal background preferred but not essential; must have strong contract law knowledge

Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

• Must have experience working in Renewable Energy, preference is Solar or BESS
• Experience working on PPAs and supporting
