About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to guide our preschool program and mentor fellow educators in best practice. This is a full-time position that combines teaching, leadership and collaboration in a supportive and welcoming centre. This role is set to commence in Term 3 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of our preschool program including the completion of Transition Statements

Inspire and mentor educators to deliver high-quality, child-centred practices

Guide curriculum development and reflective practices in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS)

Foster positive relationships with children, families, educators and the broader school community

Support children’s transition to school in partnership with St Joseph’s Catholic College

What We’re Looking For:

A qualified Early Childhood Teacher with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent). All applicants actively working towards an equivalent degree that are 50% or more completed will be considered.

Current registration with the NT Teacher Registration Board or ability to obtain

A nurturing, energetic and collaborative educator with a passion for early learning

Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills (or a keen interest in developing these)

Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and Reggio-inspired or inquiry-based learning approaches

Commitment to contribute to the mission and Catholic ethos of the College
