Under new business leadership, Spartan Australia, NZ & Fiji is investing in a multi-brand strategy to support its various target markets and customers.
Position Summary
Based in Australia and working across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji the incumbent supports the development and execution of marketing campaigns and collaborates cross-functionally to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition and revenue growth. It supports the volunteer, ambassador, outreach, workout tour and street team programs. It requires the incumbent to be onsite for Spartan events across all brands.
Marketing & Digital Media
Support planning and execution of marketing campaigns and advertising.
Create engaging content for social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and more).
Monitor campaign performance and optimise based on analytics.
Assist with email marketing (EDMs), content scheduling, and performance reporting.
Maintain marketing assets and track campaign performance and sales data.
Community Engagement & Programs
Help deliver and grow Spartan’s Outreach Program, Ambassador Program, and Street Team initiatives.
Build relationships with gyms, schools and local businesses to promote events.
Recruit and manage volunteers and ambassadors, issue discount/reward codes, and support program reporting.
Support Workout Tours and promotional events in key locations.
Volunteer Management (event days)
Coordinate volunteer operations on race days, including briefings, check-in, tent setup, and ongoing support.
Liaise with the Race Director and Festival Manager to ensure smooth execution and optimal volunteer coverage.
Experience & Qualifications
Qualifications in marketing, communications, or a related field (required)
Minimum 2-3 years demonstrated experience in digital marketing, ideally within the sports or fitness industry
Highly adept in developing creative marketing content, with strong attention to detail
Highly developed organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, and familiar with digital tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe etc.) and CMS
Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Adobe Marketing Cloud or similar social media management platforms; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress CMS
Comfortable working long days outdoors - even in tough weather - and you're up for hitting the road for multi-day trips to support our events throughout the year.
Note: must have permanent Australian work rights. Position subject to passing Working with Children Check and National Police Check
