Restaurant Supervisor

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a highly organised and service-oriented Restaurant Manager who is hands on to join our vibrant Food & Beverage Team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is a full time, permanent position.

As one of Brisbane’s premier events venues, Nostimo Restaurant and Bar at The Greek Club delivers memorable experiences where Greek Food, Wines and Greek Hospitality are enjoyed by all our guests. With fantastic views over Brisbane’s CBD, and in addition to our Award-winning Nostimo Restaurant and Bar The Greek Club offers a diverse range of event spaces.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your exceptional skills in ensuring we continue to exceed expectations in our food and beverage service at Nostimo Restaurant and Bar. THE PERSON

As a Restaurant Manager, you will be:

Attending to planning duties in the lead up to reservations and liaising with the Events Team about event requirements.

Ensuring the restaurant set, bars and back of house areas are completed within timeframes ready for service.

Supervising team members and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service.

be present in the restaurant during service periods.

Assisting in the training and development of team members; and conducting event briefings prior to service with team members.

Assist with menu and wine list preparations.

Manage beverage stocks, including monthly stocktakes and purchasing.

We will require you to be:

Experience in managing a high end fast past restaurant is essential.

Proven communication, leadership, time management and organisational skills.

The natural ability to create a positive experience for our guests and a fun and energetic work environment for our team.

A strong commitment and desire to providing consistent excellent guest service.

Proactive problem solving and decision-making skills.

Excellent presentation and style.

Enthusiasm, energy and a “can do” attitude.

The ability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.

A current QLD RSA Statement of Attainment; and

Working experience within the Microsoft Office suite.
