Wynnum Dentists is a leading, privately owned practice in South East Brisbane, located in Wynnum, QLD. With over 40 years of experience, we are well-known in Wynnum-Manly and the surrounding areas. Our practice focuses on preventive, general, and cosmetic dentistry, supported by a highly knowledgeable team and solid administration processes.

The Position:

Chairside assistance to dentists, OHT and hygienists

Sterilisation work - processing and reprocessing of the dental instruments throughout the day

Arranging to pick up and drop off the lab work

Handling calls as required

Pouring up impressions and fabrication of bleaching trayssplints for the clinician - if nil experience, training is provided

Software knowledge - Preferred experience with EXACT but not mandatory

Stocking up each surgery at the start of the day

Managing waste at the end of the day

Cleaning surgeries at the start and end of each day as per the roster(involves vacuuming and mopping of the floors, cleaning the drawers on quieter days etc)

About You:

Should have some experience in chair-side assistance / dental reception

Certificate 3 or equivalent is preferred - or willing to complete

Good knowledge of infection control procedures and processing instruments

Team player who can play well within the team and on an individual level

Motivated, positive attitude, well-articulated performer

Working with children check, First aid, CPR certificate, COVID vaccination complete or willing to be completed before the commencement
