Location: Mid North Coast (Head office in Coffs Harbour)
Employment Type: Full-time (Part-time negotiable for the right candidate)
About Key Community Group
At Key Community Group, we’re more than a workplace – we’re a purpose-driven organisation with heart. Since 1991, we’ve delivered high-impact services in disability support, employment, youth programs and training across the Mid North Coast of NSW. Our success lies in our deep connection to community – and now, we’re ready to amplify our impact.
As we grow, we need a strategic, creative, and driven Marketing & Brand Manager to help us tell our story, elevate our voice, and strengthen our reach.
Why Work With Us?
We’re values-led, people-focused, and future-minded. Our work environment is collaborative, flexible, and packed with purpose. You’ll join a team that celebrates initiative, encourages innovation, and appreciates the spark that creative minds bring to the table.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who will take ownership of our brand, communications, and marketing strategy, including social media, website content, email campaigns, printed materials, media engagement, community events, and partnerships.
This role is perfect for someone who loves big-picture thinking but isn’t afraid to get into the detail, building campaigns, creating content, and delivering results. We’re especially looking for someone who lives and breathes social media, with the ability to produce high-quality short-form videos/reels and engaging grassroots content across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. You’ll support different teams across the organisation, helping them promote their programs, attract new participants, share success stories, and communicate clearly with staff, stakeholders, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and deliver a practical marketing plan that supports our programs and goals
· Manage our brand from visuals to tone of voice and keep it consistent across everything we do
· Plan and schedule content across our website, socials, email newsletters and printed materials
· Run our Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn accounts — posting regularly and keeping content fresh
· Film, edit and publish short videos and reels that tell real stories about our staff, participants and community
· Write clear, engaging copy for social posts, email campaigns, flyers, and reports
· Design simple but effective marketing materials using Canva (or similar)
· Keep the website up to date with current content, events, and service information
· Support program teams to promote events, fill programs, and share success stories
· Build contacts with local media and community groups to boost visibility
· Track what’s working (and what’s not) using analytics and adjust accordingly
· Help staff communicate better internally — from event invites to internal updates and team news
Essential Requirements
· A university degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field
· At least 3 years’ experience in a marketing, communications, or branding role
· Confident creating content from scratch, including writing posts, taking photos, and designing simple graphics
· Solid experience running social media accounts for a brand or organisation (especially Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn)
· Comfortable using tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, and updating websites (e.g. WordPress or Squarespace)
· Able to plan and run marketing campaigns from start to finish, including timelines, content, and delivery
· Good with people: you’ll be working closely with program teams, leadership, and external partners
· Organised, reliable, and able to juggle multiple deadlines
· A genuine interest in making a difference through your work
· Current driver’s licence & comprehensively insured car
· Working with Children Check & National Police Check
Desirable
· Experience working in the community services, not-for-profit, or social enterprise space
· Familiarity with fundraising campaigns or using marketing to support social impact
· Photography or video production/editing skills
· Awareness of accessibility and inclusive design in content creation

Flexible work arrangements (including remote/hybrid options)
Salary packaging options (Not-for-Profit benefits)
Ongoing professional development opportunities
Creative freedom and input into strategic decision-making
Work that genuinely impacts the lives of others
