About the role

Autopro tom price is seeking a Spare Parts 2IC to join our team in Tom Price WA 6751 on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the efficient operation of our automotive parts department, ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service. This position offers the flexibility of FIFO or residential employment options.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the Spare Parts Manager in the day-to-day running of the parts department

Ordering, receiving, and stocking automotive parts and accessories

Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external clients

Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels

Identifying opportunities to improve department processes and efficiency

Providing training and supervision to junior members of the parts team

Ensuring compliance with all relevant workplace policies and procedures

Booking in work for our workshop and helping with the day to day management of it

What we're looking for

Significant experience in a similar spare parts or automotive trade role

Strong product knowledge and the ability to quickly identify and locate parts

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team

Proficient in the use of inventory management systems and computer software

A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records

A valid driver's licence and the ability to obtain a "C" class licence
